The Gary Halbert refrence is spot on here. That whole idea of morning road work being a mental unlock not jst physical one really tracks. I found that building habbit stacks around sleep timing actually creates space for everything else to fall into place, dunno why that connection gets overlooked so often in health discussions.

Had stomach issues. Went for a checkup. Turns out I have kidney and gall bladder stones.

Stopped eating out completely. Replaced packaged food snacking with fruits. Started walking for half an hour daily. Increased it to 45 minutes and now an hour daily.

Stones are still there, but, stomach feels lighter. Lost 3 kgs just by eating home cooked food only.

I think even though we feel medical science has advanced, it still does not consider the differences in our bodies. General treatment is prescribed to everyone without considering our individual body shape and it's inner workings.

I think we should try to listen to our body & gut instead of what the Internet says.

If something(food, routine or exercise) doesn't sit well with us, we should not do it. Period. Only we know our body well, no one else.

So, experiment and find what works for you. Discuss it with your doctors. Maybe you will find someone who actually listens to the patient. A lot of medical professionals don't.
