life update: building an app for couples (this was not the plan)

This was supposed to be my calm phase. “Do good work, log off, drink water, sleep” chapter. But life had other plans.

In Sept 2025, I joined an influencer marketing agency as their head of content for AI Launches. I worked with companies like Gamma, AirWallex, Cartesia and more.

I was heads down coordinating with 130+ creators, writing viral hooks, executing launch strategies, ghostwriting some threads, building the rollout plans & hitting those 5M impression guarantees on the launch day.

Great work, but I realize I am not a job person, especially not an agency job person. It can be highly draining for me as a person.

I love love love taking things from 0 to 1 and 1 to 100. It’s just when you are in an environment when everyday feels like an emergency, my thinking cells start to plummet. Plus, the vague feedbacks also get to you.

Unlike code, content is a very contextual thing. It’s a battle of taste. Who has a better taste for virality. Who can get more and more eyeballs to the launch. All while communicating with clients + more than 130 influencers. All of this leads to heavy context switching.

Now ideally, with all the heavy lifting. I should have wanted peace.

But no I want war.

I started building a startup on the side. To bring in more chaos. More context switching. More on the feet work. But this one is fun.

There are so many apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge to help you find a partner. But nothing to make your partner stay forever with you and build a happy & healthy relationship.

We want couples to mate for life. Fall in love everyday. Have their own cocoon - a private world in the digital space.
